What should I do for aftercare?

SECOND SKIN

While the bandage is on, you can continue your daily routine as usual. It is water-resistant, so showering with it on is fine; however, I recommend avoiding extended exposure to water, as moisture can occasionally seep underneath.

I recommend keeping the Second Skin bandage on for 2 - 4 days after your appointment. When it’s time to remove it, do so slowly under warm running water or with the help of soap. Since the bandage adheres firmly to the skin, some effort may be required during removal.

If the bandage becomes uncomfortable or starts peeling before at least 3 days have passed, remove it using the same method described above. For the remainder of the healing period, apply an unscented lotion.

PLASTIC WRAP

Remove your bandage before bed, then rinse off the area with lukewarm water and a mild, unscented liquid soap. Gently clean your tattoo when you shower. For the remainder of the healing period, apply an unscented lotion.
